Doubt Can Lead to Real Faith - Day 6/11 (April 12)
Doubt brought to Jesus doesn’t destroy faith—it deepens it.
🙏 John 20:28 (NKJV) — “My Lord and my God!”
What Happened
Thomas, who had openly struggled to believe, is given the opportunity to see Jesus for himself. When he encounters the risen Christ—no longer relying on the words of others but seeing the truth firsthand—his doubt gives way to full belief. He responds not with hesitation, but with complete surrender and clarity, declaring, “My Lord and my God!”
What It Means
Jesus does not reject honest doubt or push it aside—He meets it with truth and invites us to see clearly. When doubt is brought to Him rather than hidden or ignored, it becomes a pathway to deeper conviction. Faith is not weakened by questions; it is strengthened when those questions are anchored in truth. Real faith is formed not by pretending to be certain, but by encountering Christ and trusting what He reveals.
Why This Matters Today
Many struggle with doubt but feel they must hide it. But doubt brought honestly before God does not push Him away—it draws Him near.
A Simple Truth to Carry
Honest doubt can lead to unshakable faith.
A Prayer
Lord, meet me in my questions. Help my faith grow stronger as I seek truth in You. Amen.
