Exodus - Day 21 - Presence: The Tabernacle and God with Us (Feb 21)
Formation & Application / Exodus 34:6 (NKJV)
Scripture Link: đ Exodus 34:6 (NKJV)
What This Forms in Us
This forms a deep confidence in the character of God. We are shaped to trust not merely in what God does, but in who He is. His mercy, grace, patience, goodness, and truth become the foundation for our faith, not our circumstances or performance. This verse forms in us a settled assurance that Godâs presence is governed by compassion, not condemnation.
How This Is Lived Out
We live this out by approaching God with honesty instead of fear. Because He is long-suffering and gracious, we do not hide our weakness, but bring it into His presence. We also reflect His character toward others by showing patience, forgiveness, and steadfast love, even when it is undeserved.
Practice for Today
Pause today and speak Godâs name slowly as He reveals it here: âThe LORD⊠merciful⊠gracious⊠longsuffering⊠abounding in goodness and truth.â Let each word guide your prayer and reset your view of God before responding to anyone or anything.
Formation Truth (to carry forward)
Godâs presence is anchored in His faithful character, not in my perfection.
A Prayer
Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and rich in love. Teach my heart to trust You as You truly are. Help me to walk in patience, extend grace to others, and rest in the goodness of Your presence. Amen.

âWe are shaped âŠâ this 3 minute exposition is packed with truth bombs - enough to take hours in pondering daily. His âpresence is driven by compassion not condemnationâ - just let that sink in!! How can we see Him as usual or ordinary. But the âwe are shapedâ - thatâs the catalyst of the whole revelation ⊠He loved us before ⊠anything.
Great read!
