Failure Is Not Final. Day 3/11 (April 9)
Failure is not final—Jesus restores what we thought was lost.
❤️ Please consider liking this series if it is helping you grow in your understanding of Jesus Christ. 🙏 If you would be so kind as to restack it, it truly helps expand its reach so more people can encounter Him. Thank you for your support. 🙏
Scripture: 🙏 John 21:17 (NKJV) — “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”
What Happened
Peter, who denied Jesus three times, is restored by Jesus through three questions: “Do you love Me?”
What It Means
Jesus does not define Peter by his failure, but by his restored love. The calling is not removed—it is reaffirmed. Restoration is not based on perfection, but on returning to Him.
Several months ago, I published an article about “Two Failures, Two Destinies: Peter vs. Judas” that discussed the two sins. Whose was worse?
Why This Matters Today
We all carry moments we wish we could undo. Failure can feel final. But Jesus meets us there—not to condemn, but to restore. What matters is not that we failed, but that we return.
A Simple Truth to Carry
Your failure is not the end of your calling.
A Prayer
Lord, You know my heart. Where I have failed, restore me. Help me to return to You fully and walk again in what You have called me to do. Amen.
