FaithBindsUs 2026 Bible Study Program - Only 3-5 Minutes a Day!
Orientation: This Is How We Will Read the Bible Together in 2026
“The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
Psalm 119:130 (NKJV)
Welcome to FaithBindsUs.
Before we open Genesis, we begin with this orientation—because how we read the Bible shapes what we learn from it.
This study is not rushed.
It is not proof-texting.
It is not devotional fragments detached from context.
Instead, we will walk through Scripture the way it was given. As a unified, unfolding story of God’s redemptive work.
What This Bible Study Is (and Is Not)
What This Study Is
A 365-day, (1) Year, Scripture-anchored journey
Built around weekly anchor teachings with daily reinforcement
Focused on authorial intent, narrative flow, and biblical theology
Christ-centered without forced allegory (a story meaning something else)
Rooted in Scripture, interpreting Scripture
You will still receive stories of encouragement, devotionals, and historical articles throughout the week!
What This Study Is Not
A verse-of-the-day program
A topical jump-around study
Speculative symbolism
Personal opinion dressed as doctrine
The FaithBindsUs Study Framework (Plain Language)
Each book of the Bible (All 66) will be studied using the same five-part structure, so readers always know where they are and why it matters.
Narrative Units (Events, Not Just Chapters)
We group Scripture by events and movements, not artificial chapter breaks, so the story flows as intended. (3-5 minutes per day!)
Historical & Literary Context
We ask:
Who wrote this?
To whom was it written?
Why was it written?
What problem(s) are being addressed?
Christological Meaning
We show how the passage:
Reveals humanity’s need for redemption
Anticipates Christ
How it is later fulfilled in Him. Only when Scripture itself supports the connection.
Apostolic Witness
We reference the New Testament only where the apostles clearly interpret or fulfill the Old Testament passage.
Book-Wide Synthesis
At the end of each book, we gather the larger redemptive themes that emerge only when the book is read as a whole.
How the 365-Day Rhythm Works
This is a weekly-anchored, daily reinforced study method.
Weekly Anchor Teaching
We introduce the main biblical event or movement of the story.
We establish theology, structure, and direction for the week.
Daily Studies (7-Day Cadence)
Each day reinforces the previous day.
(Day 1) - Will discuss “Narrative & Context” of the Book.
Narrative, in a biblical sense, answers questions like: What is happening in this portion of Scripture? What events are being described? How do these events connect in the book?
Context includes: Historical context – When was it written? What was happening at the time? Who the author was addressing and why. Context prevents misinterpretation by keeping the passage grounded in its original meaning.
(Day 2) -Theology & Meaning, (Day 3)- Christological Connection, (Day 4) - Apostolic Witness (if applicable), (Day 5) - Formation & Application, (Day 6) - Reflection & Integration, (Day 7) - Rest, Prayer, and Review
You will never feel “behind” if you miss a day; the weekly anchor carries the theology.
Example – Day 1
Why Read the Bible This Way?
Scripture was not written as isolated verses but as a progressive revelation.
This study teaches readers to see the whole story, not just memorable lines. Focus: big-picture reading, key scripture: (Example Luke 24:27)
Example – Day 2
What Is Authorial Intent?
We honor Scripture by asking what the biblical author meant rather than what we want it to say. Focus is on meaning before application.
Example – Day 3
How Christ Is Revealed in All Scripture
Christ is not added to Scripture; He is revealed by it. We let the Bible show us how He fulfills the story. We focus on Biblical Christology. Who does Scripture say Jesus is? Why did He come? How does the whole Bible point to Him? How do His life, death, resurrection, and reign fulfill God’s redemptive plan?
Example – Day 4
When the New Testament Interprets the Old
We follow the apostles’ lead, not modern imagination. We focus on Apostolic authority, delegated by Christ Himself.
Example – Day 5
Why Context Protects Truth
Context prevents misuse, distortion, and shallow readings. We focus on Integrity in interpretation.
Example – Day 6
How This Study Forms the Heart, Not Just the Mind
Truth transforms when it is understood and lived. We focus on the ongoing work of God in forming Christlike character in the believer through truth, obedience, suffering, repentance, and daily faithfulness.
Example – Day 7
Prayer, Rest, and Readiness
Before Genesis begins, we ask that you pause, not to stop, but to prepare. Focus on a prayerful posture.
Closing Prayer
Lord,
Teach us to love Your Word as You gave it. Guard us from rushing, twisting, or shrinking it. Give us humble hearts, attentive minds, and patient spirits as we walk through Your story together. Prepare us now to begin.
Amen.
What Comes Next
