Scripture Explains Everything Day 4/11 (April 10)
What was hidden becomes clear when Christ opens the Word.
đ âPlease consider liking â¤ď¸ and restacking đâit truly helps us grow!â
đ Luke 24:27 (NKJV) â âBeginning at Moses and all the Prophets⌠He expounded to them.â
What Happened
On the road to Emmaus, Jesus walks with two disciples and explains how all of Scripture points to Him.
Jesus does not give the disciples new information; He reinterprets what was already written. Beginning with Moses and the Prophets, He shows that the entire story of Scripture was always pointing to Him. What once seemed like disconnected events, laws, and prophecies is revealed to be one unified, unfolding plan of redemption.
This moment establishes several foundational truths:
First, Scripture is unified. The Old Testament is not separate from Christâit is fulfilled in Him. Nothing in Godâs plan was accidental or interrupted. The cross and resurrection were not reactionsâthey were the fulfillment of what had been written all along.
Second, understanding requires revelation. These disciples knew the Scriptures, yet they did not understand them until Jesus explained them. This shows that clarity does not come from knowledge alone, but from seeing Scripture through Christ.
Third, Godâs plan is trustworthy. What looked like defeatâthe crucifixionâwas actually the exact path God had already revealed. This reassures us that even when we do not understand what God is doing, He is still fulfilling His Word perfectly.
Finally, it teaches us how we are to read the Bible today: Not in fragments, not in isolation, but as one continuous story that finds its meaning in Jesus Christ.
This is why the Emmaus Road matters so deeply: It is the moment where confusion turns into clarityânot by changing Scripture, but by rightly understanding it through Christ.
What It Means
The story of Scripture is unified. What once seemed confusing becomes clear when seen through Christ. Godâs plan was not interruptedâit was fulfilled exactly as written.
Why This Matters Today
We often read Scripture in pieces instead of as a whole. But clarity comes when we allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. Understanding grows when we stay rooted in the Word. We are teaching you the FaithBindsUs Narrative Redemptive Method!
A Simple Truth to Carry
Clarity comes when Scripture explains Scripture. Anything else does not present the Story factually!
A Prayer
Lord, open my understanding as I read Your Word. Help me to see clearly what You have revealed, and to trust what You have already written. Amen.
