Advent Calendar - Day 3 - The Prophetic Line
From a stump, God grows a Savior.
Instructions for Reflection Application:
Think of an area of your life that feels like a “cut-down stump.” Ask God to bring new hope and life where you see only endings. Journal one way you’ve seen God bring something good out of something broken.
Brief Summary:
Isaiah 11:1 prophesies that the Messiah would come from the “stem of Jesse,” showing that even when Israel’s royal line seemed cut down, God would bring new life through a promised descendant, Jesus, born from the line of David. This verse reminds us that God restores what appears finished and brings hope from what seems lifeless.

This was not coincidence.I needed to hear this , and God knew my heart. All my life because of the abuse of other people I felt I've been held captive and my mind, thinking everything had to be perfect, because nothing was perfect. And of course , nothing can be perfect except through God. I needed to hear this verse because I know through God I can find what is not whole and He can help me make it whole. I'm struggling with how to talk to people without sounding. Condescending , I'm having a big problem with this , especially with the ghanaian friend , i'm living with right now. And with my thyroid condition I'm not feeling myself. God Please help me to realize that only you can make things perfect that I don't have to try. That you will help me make things right in your time. AMEN
